MAISON MOULIN berries from the Indian ocean
Maison MOULIN was fonded in 1903 at Carpentras, located in the heart of the Comtat Venaissin truffle region. Its founder, Laurent Moulin, specializes in fresh truffles.
In 1970, during a trip to Madagascar, Pierre Moulin, Laurent Moulin’s son, discovered green peppercorns. This variety was then unknown in the West. He developed a canned green peppercorn preserve, which was an immediate success.
In 1979, François Moulin, the third generation, joined the company. After a period of observation and discovery in Madagascar and the Mascarene Islands, he expanded the product range with Pink Peppercorns in Vinegar and the Gourmet Blend.
The Maison Moulin Philosophy:
- Rigorous Selection: Black truffles (Périgord) and green peppercorns from Madagascar, renowned for their exceptional quality.
- Natural Preservation: Use of modern sterilization techniques, without chemical additives.
